Marcello Fantoni (1915-2011) was a ceramicist born in Florence. In 1934 he graduated as a 'maestro' of art and continued to impress people with his unique pieces of sculpture and vascular formations. The archaic stylization in his ceramics was inspired by Etruscan models and they were rendered modern because of their glazes and colors. You can find his work at the Metropolitan Museum or Art and other museums around the world.
